Therapy for Individuals, Couples and Families

Relationships can feel difficult at times. You might be feeling stuck in the same conversations, carrying hurt that hasn’t been resolved, or unsure how to move forward—on your own or with others.

You may be coming with:

  • ongoing tension or communication difficulties in your relationship

  • the impact of separation, betrayal, or rebuilding trust

  • challenges within your family or with parenting

  • grief, loss, or big life changes

  • feelings of anxiety, low mood, or self-doubt

  • the impact of addiction or mental health difficulties within the family

You don’t have to have everything clearly worked out before coming. We can begin with where things are now and make sense of it together.

What to expect from therapy

Sessions are a space to slow things down and really listen—to yourself and to each other. I’m interested in understanding what things have been like for you, how you understand difficulties have developed over time, and what each person is hoping might be different.

In our first meeting, we’ll begin to build a picture together. There is room for everyone’s perspective, and we’ll think about what feels most important to focus on. We can then decide, what would be helpful moving forward and the appropriate pace and frequency of sessions.

Some people come for a small number of sessions to gain clarity or shift something specific. Others find it helpful to meet for longer, especially when difficulties feel more complex or longstanding. You are always in control of the process—you can take a break or return at a later time if needed.

Sessions are 50 minutes long. At times, longer sessions may be helpful and can be arranged as needed.

A safe and respectful space

Feeling safe, respected, and able to speak openly is central to this work. I aim to create a space where honest conversations can happen—at a pace that feels manageable for you.

Everything we talk about is confidential. If it ever seems helpful to involve other professionals (such as your GP), we would talk this through together and only proceed with your agreement and written consent. I will also explain the limits of confidentiality clearly when we first meet as safety always remains my paramount concern.

Fees

  • Individual therapy: $240 incl.

  • Couples / family therapy: $260 incl.

If you need to cancel or change an appointment, I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid being charged for the session but 48 hours is preferable, to allow other clients to book that session. Payment is due at completion of each session.
